Band Facts:
Midtown and Thursday both played their debut gig in Geoff's basement.
Steve Facts:
Glassjaw's video for the track "Siberian Kiss", was directed and put together by Steve Pedulla.
Tom Facts:
Tom's most memorable high school expirence involved a group of friends and himself. They were exploring
a haunted house in their town. The house was actually guarded 24-hours a day by police, but somehow they managed to get inside.
It was the middle of the night so it was pitch black, the only light came from a single flashlight that they had. At some point,
someone said, 'Hey, let's go down to the basement.' So they did. On the way down the stairs, they came across a landing and
continued following the stairwell. When Tom shined the light down into the basement, it illiminated the bloody handprints all
over the wall. Tom said it was the scariest thing he'd ever seen.
Geoff Facts:
Geoff Rickly recently produced My chemical Romance's CD titled "I brought you my bullets,
you brought me your love". The CD came out on July 23rd of this year...if you need further
proof you can go to http://www.mychemicalromance.com/cdback.htm and under the track listing,
it says "Produced by Geoff Rickly".
Geoff Rickly is a part of a 'grindcore' band which also features Daryl from Glassjaw/Head Automatica,
Chree from the Number 12 Looks Like You and Kiss It Goodbye's Eric Cooper. They're calling this project, United Nations.
Daryl talking about this project: He said it's a blast-beat-riddled grindcore band. "I'm supposed to be handed what has been done, up to all of my parts," he said. "Then I'll be doing my guitar parts on top of that. I'm very into it. It's definitely going to see the light of day, and it's going to be f---ing great. When we were in New York for the 'Beating Heart Baby' video, we played a show the following night, and Geoff was hanging out. I bullsh--ted with him a lot about it. Those two days were crucial to the whole vision of what this project will be."
